Medical diet: losing weight correctly
Although they say that a medical diet for weight loss is developed by doctors, it is difficult to believe when looking at the diet. Most medical diets are based on the introduction of foods high in vitamins and minerals.

Medical diet is not suitable:
- those who have recently had an illness and have not yet recovered from it;
- in the presence of chronic diseases in acute condition or in remission;
- with an active lifestyle, regardless of the type of activity - mental or physical labor.
It should be borne in mind that it is not combined with active training. If you decide to lose weight with a similar medical therapeutic diet, you need to choose a time when nothing will be annoying, you do not need to run anywhere. Better to lose weight while on vacation.
During forced fasting, you not only begin to feel weak, which is natural, but also feel irritated due to the constantly present feeling of hunger. At this time there is a risk of falling out on others. We need to try to keep them safe.
In order to prevent deterioration of the quality of the skin, nails and hair, you should supplement the diet with a balanced vitamin complex in tablet or capsule form. The medical diet is designed for 7, 10 and 14 days.
Menu for medical diet for 7 days.
The first day is hungry. During it, you can only drink 3 bottles of 500 ml of mineral water without gas, dividing the volume of liquid into 5-6 doses.
It is easier to withstand the next day. Milk in the amount of 0.8 liters until 18.00 in several doses, at 18.00 dinner - an apple.
Day 3. Menu repeat - if you can call it that - 1 day.
Day 4. Fresh carrot and cabbage salad, dressing - olive oil. Lettuce volume - liter.
Day 5. Only milk - 0.8 l.
Day 6. The diet is expanding. Breakfast - hard-boiled egg, snack after 3 hours - vegetable broth, after another 3 hours = 100 g portion: meat and canned green peas. Till evening snacks with green apples. You can eat them 3.
On day 7, food intake is calculated independently. Consumed per day: half a standard pack of cottage cheese, a bottle of kefir 1% and milk in the amount of 2 glasses - 2.5% fat.
When planning a diet, do not forget that it will take at least 3-4 days to get out of it. For the first 2 days, foods from the diet menu are gradually introduced into the diet. The list is gradually expanding. Food should be consumed in small portions.
During the diet for weight loss, in addition to the days during which they drank mineral water, an extended drinking regime is required - at least 2.5 liters of pure water, water without gas or green tea.
The menu for the first 10 days of a diet designed for 14 hungry days is no different from a 7-day diet. 8, 9 and 10 days repeat 1, 2 and 3.
Day 11. Celery and parsley salad dressed with olive oil.
Day 12. Milk 1 l, divided for the whole day.
13 day - the menu repeats for 6 days.
Day 14. Lactic. Cottage cheese, kefir, milk. Cottage cheese 100 g, milk and kefir no more than 1 liter.
The exit time from the 14-day diet is doubled, it should take at least 7 days.
The 10-day diet has a slightly different menu: it includes fish and meat. It is broken down into 2-day cycles:
- Chicken breasts without spices and salt - 250 g per day;
- Boiled fish, cooked according to the same algorithm - 250 g portion for the whole day;
- Porridge: buckwheat and rice - 500 g per day;
- Vegetable cycle - any vegetables except potatoes. Serving Per Day - 500 g;
- Fruit - the same portion. You can choose any fruit or berry except mango, banana, grape.

The nuances of weight loss on medical diets
If during the 7 and 14-day diets, you need to limit salt intake, then with the 10-day diet, no salt is consumed at all.
If it is necessary to lose weight, but at the same time it is required to lead an active lifestyle, then the diet for 10 days is adjusted to 4 cycles, portions are increased, and followed for 2 or 3 courses:
- 1 cycle - chicken fillet;
- 2 - cereals: oat, buckwheat or rice, which are brewed in a thermos in the evening;
- 3 - fish;
- 4 - vegetables and fruits;
- 5 - fish or meat, combined with low-fat cottage cheese.
Over a 7-day course of weight loss, the weight is reduced by 3-4 kg, over a 14-day course - up to 8 kg, over a 10-day course by 6-7 kg.
If you choose a diet for losing weight without restricting food by volume, you should calculate the menu by energy value. No more than 1500 calories are injected per day.
